WEDDING CEREMONY SERVICE

 When wedding ceremonies are held at the same venue as the        reception, they are generally at a different spot on the grounds. 

Outdoor ceremonies are also susceptible to outdoor noises like wind, birds & automobile/crowd noise.  I make sure your guests can hear your ceremony.  My wedding ceremony service includes:

  • A SMALLER, STANDALONE SYSTEM EXCLUSIVE FOR THE CEREMONY

  • WIRELESS LAPEL (CLIP-ON) MICROPHONES FOR THE OFFICIANT & GROOM (if needed)*;

  • WIRELESS HANDHELD MICROPHONE (ON MIC STAND) FOR READERS*;

  • UP TO 30 MINUTES OF MUSIC PRIOR TO START OF YOUR CEREMONY AS GUESTS ARE ARRIVING;

WHAT'S YOUR BUDGET?

I'm sure that's a question you'll be asked quite a bit -- and I ask as well -- because it is very important to each and every vendor.   It's asked because you don't want to waste your time talking to a vendor that's not in your budget (and vice versa).

That's why it's asked.  NOT because it's some ploy to charge you want your budget is (or whatever ridiculousness that some blogs suggest.  Scrupulous vendors like that don't last very long).

 

So, what IS your budget for a professional & well-experienced DJ for your event?  Notice I do use the word "professional" & "well-experienced", because -- as I stated earlier -- there are differences among us and those who do it "on-the-side" who are simply running a hobby/making a few extra bucks.  It IS an apples to oranges comparison.  I'll be more-than-happy to explain the significant differences. 

Think of this in terms of your job:  You expected to be paid accordingly based on your overall experience and success compared to someone who is new and/or part-time.  I'm sure you'd be slightly insulted if someone came up to you at your work and expected you to do something cheap because they compared to you someone who is new, or part-time or not as experienced as you.  It's no different with service providers.  

Although my rates are reflective of an well-experienced professional (this is my career) who also runs a business, I do work with budgets that are reflective of someone looking for a well-experienced pro! 

As a boutique DJ, I acknowledge that each and every event is unique.  Especially weddings.  And what also is a vital factor into the "uniqueness" of each event is the venue.  Venues are trying to stand apart from one another, so set-ups do vary in quite a few.

For example, some might need multiple set-ups to account for activity going on in different areas of the venue.  Or sound "reinforcement" might be needed to handle a large crowd and/or a venue with acoustic challenges (marble and/or tall ceilings, for example).   There are even a few venues in the area that need three set-ups because there are different activities going on in different areas during the event.  

 

Not to mention, when your wedding or event is is a factor as well!

 

This is one of the pertinent reasons why I don't have a "one-price-fits-all" because quite a few factors have to be considered.  I don't believe in surprising clients with a "Oops, I didn't know that I need another set-up in another room" surprise charge.   And, I'm sure you wouldn't want that either (and it does happen with some companies/DJ's).
